Satpanth King Koil Acquires Assets of Bedford Furniture Industries

Santpath Capital Incorporated has acquired the assets of Bedroom Furniture Industries last September 24, 2009. According to company founders Allan Erlick, Larry Lewis, and Alykhan Sunderji, this step will stabilize the King Koil Brand in Canada.

At present, Satpanth Capital Incorporated already has 85 combined years as a leading mattress manufacturer in Canada.

King Koil and Santpath Capital Incorporated have over 500,000 square feet of manufacturing space, 250 employees, and $70 million in annual sales. They take pride in their state-of-the-art facilities both in Toronto and Calgary. Their combined equipment investments are estimated at over $40 million.

All product lines of King Koil will continue to be produced both in Toronto and Calgary. No changes will be made to exisiting programs, products, or lineups.

As for Bedford Furniture, Santpath Capital will continue to honour all warranties, rebates, and programs set up with their previous customers. Key Management, Sales, and Support teams in Toronto and Calgary will remain intact.

Founders, Erlick, Lewis, and Sunderji said that this is a new beginning for two of Canada’s largest and oldest mattress factories.
